Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
The EYFS sets the standard for the education and care of children up to the age of 5 in England and all early years providers must follow the EYFS. This means that all children in England are taught through play, with early years providers ensuring progress in seven areas of learning:
Our curriculum map shows each term how we will ensure the children's progress in these seven areas of learning, however most of our teaching and learning is guided by the children's interests. We deliver this in a rich, enabling environment which allows us to deliver a high quality education to each unique child in our care; they pursue their interests at their own pace while also working towards the knowledge, skills and understanding they will need later on in their schooling.
