KS1 Language Group
In the afternoons of Monday – Thursday we run a KS1 Language Group for children in year 1 and 2 who have a language delay (but not for children with a speech sounds issue). Children in this group learn sentence structures, for example, subject auxiliary verb object structures with prepositional phrase sentences such as ‘He is eating cake in the kitchen.’ They develop their understanding of tenses, prepositions, pronouns and questioning and answering skills.
