We are committed to developing healthy children with positive attitudes to exercise and diet. Pupils are encouraged to exercise regularly and eat healthily. We offer each child a free fruit or vegetable each day. Our onsite kitchens offer every child a healthy lunch, cooked at school. A vegetarian choice is always provided and, if notified, we can usually cater to special dietary needs. A Scoot to Breakfast scheme is run, which means that children who cycle, scoot or walk to school that day can come in and share a healthy breakfast with one another.
PE is taught twice a week, with one outside session and one indoor session. We also invite coaches to come in and coach children in games such as tennis, rugby and cricket.
