'Get reading. Keep reading. Change everything' Ruth Miskin

Read Write Inc. Phonics is a programme designed by Ruth Miskin to teach children phonics systematically according to the National Curriculum 2014. It helps children read and write sounds easily. There are story books to match the sounds they have been successfully taught. Every child is assessed and placed in a Read Write Inc group appropriate to their stage of reading.

We use the highly successful Read Write Inc. Phonics programme to teach our children to read, write and spell. Our children do well in the phonics screening check and by Year 2, the majority are fluent readers with the best chance of success in the KS1 tests.
