YEAR 1 TRIP TO THE SCIENCE MUSEUM 7TH MARCH

Dear Parents and Carers,

FRIENDS are excited to announce our Fun-d Raisin Competition!

Each child will receive a small raisin box on Thursday 23rd January. Once they have eaten the raisins, we are asking the children to fill the box with as many coins as possible.

The class that raises the most money will win a small prize! Please encourage your child to collect coins from family and friends, and return the filled boxes by 7th February.

All money raised will contribute towards enrichment experiences for children during the year such as trips, special visitors, resources etc. Thank you for your support!

Donations and Volunteers needed for our Cake & Toy Sale!

Dear Parents and Carers,

Friends are excited to announce that we will be holding a Cake and Toy Sale on Tuesday 17th December from 3.10pm in the Hall.

To make this event a success, we need your help!

We are looking for:

  1. Cake Donations: cakes, cupcakes, or cookies. (Please be mindful that we are a nut free school).
  2. Toys in good condition: Pre-loved toys that are still in good shape and can be rehomed (no electrical items please).

Additionally, we would love some volunteers to assist us on the day of the sale.

This might include setting up, running stalls, or tidying up afterwards.

If you are able to volunteer, please speak to Sam, your class teacher or Mrs Osei.

Toys dropped off to class teacher or Sam by Thursday 12th December.

Cakes dropped off to class teacher or Sam by Monday 16th December.

Funds will support FRIENDS contribution for the pantomime that will be enjoyed by the school on Monday 6th January 2025

Thank you for your support and helping us make a positive impact!

Catch-up clinics for flu vaccine

Please share with families that there will be catch-up clinics taking place where children can receive the flu vaccine on the next two Saturdays. They are for all unvaccinated children from Reception to Year 11, and Years 12-13 in Special Schools. Please spread the word about this opportunity.

They will take place at Brabazon Community Centre, 106 Brabazon Road, Hounslow, TW5 9LT from 9.30am - 2.3pm on Saturday, 7 December and Saturday, 14 December.

Flu vaccination is the best protection against the virus. There has been good uptake in older age groups but vaccination among young children remains low, meaning many children remain at risk of serious illness and of spreading it to others.

The booking form and more information can be found here: https://nwl.schoolvaccination.uk/flu/2024/book or email Bookings.NWL@v-uk.co.uk

Flu immunisation clinic today 02/10/2024

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have been advised by the immunisation team on site that they will not be able to complete all immunisations today.

They have not allowed enough time for the number of children whose parents have registered.

We have a 2nd clinic booked in school for Tuesday 26th November.

The immunisation team advise that there will be a clinic held over half term for those children whose parents registered but did not receive their immunisation today  or for those children whose parents did not register in time. Once we have details of the clinic, we will share the information with you.

Silver, Gold, Purple, Red and Yellow classes did visit the clinic.

Blue, Green, Orange and Pink classes did not visit the clinic.

If your child was booked to have the immunisation and refused, the immunisation team will contact you directly.

We apologise on vaccination uk's behalf for any inconvenience this may cause. Should you wish to speak to a member of the immunisation team directly, please contact them directly as below:
