In October, we celebrated Black History month. We were visited by a parent, who showed us a musical instrument and told us about playing the steel drums. We all enjoyed listening to the music and dancing to it. We made sure to listen very carefully and show respect to the parent and their culture. We also read the story of 'Handa's Suprise' and had the opportunity to taste fruits from the story.
