What is speech and language therapy?
Speech and language therapists are allied health professionals who commonly help children and adults with speech, language and communication difficulties. They carry out assessments and deliver therapy to develop communication skills. At Cardinal Road’s Speech and Language Workshop children are assessed and intervention is carried out individually or on a paired basis weekly for a year until they return to their mainstream school.
