Cardinal Road is a pedestrian and cycle only zone from 8:15-9:15am and 2:45-3:45pm on school days.
The scheme has been introduced to tackle congestion at the school gates and improve the environment for children walking and cycling to school.
Vehicles driven by parents / guardians are not permitted to enter the zone during the timed closure. School Streets is enforced by camera which means unauthorised vehicles entering the zone will be issued with a penalty charge notice.
Blue badge holders are entitled to an exemption and can register their vehicle to gain access.
Hounslow Council has implemented over 25 School Streets in recent years.
